Hi there! Glad you found me. Some of you may know that my life is no bed of roses but in amidst the tragedy there are truly beautiful moments. I've wanted to make the best of those moments for so long, and to help me I've decided to journey back and explore what makes me feel, think and behave the way I do. Hopefully I'll begin to understand more about me and begin to find more peace

This isn't a challenge blog but if you fancy joining me on my journaling journey, I'll leave a linky so you can post your thoughts.

Here's wishing you special moments in time

Wish you were Here!

Dy Reavley, the fabulous lady who fist inspired me to start journalling, once said, "it's fab is journalling, better than scrapbooking because it doesn't have to be about nice things all the time"

I think I took her at her word as I have, up til now, mostly journalled when I needed to get something negative out of my system. This page, I guess runs true to form, and looking back at it, I must have been on a less than confident day, feeling particularly got at!

Still the page pleases me and makes me smile because today I feel so much better than I did!  It's such a bright page in a way too.

The background was made with colour soft paints and stamped with a TH stamp and a corner stamp but the boots are my favorite boots, black suede with gold, copper and silver 'grunging' on them. The sound very load don't they but in actual fact they are quite subdued (Alan wouldn't be seen with me if they were in any way loud!) I took a photo of them and printed it out onto copy paper which I then stuck onto the page.

Quite pleased with the finished piece and pleased that I can look back on it and know that I feel tons better today!
